I am an electrical / electronics engineer. I work for a Professional Services company called Sigma Bravo Pty Limited. We mainly do support for the Defence Material Organisation, but have a lot of capabilities in other areas as well. I specialise in GPS.

About hobbies

I hack Linux USB - I've worked on the main kernel code (including some drivers), and also wrote the Linux USB Guide and an early draft of the Linux USB Test procedures.

About Frogmouth

Frogmouth is the common name for a family of owl-like birds. The scientific name for the family is Podargidae . Tawny Frogmouths (Podargus strigoides, one of the three species in the genus Podargus) are native to the Canberra region. The other two species in Podargus - Marbled Frogmouth and Papuan Frogmouth are only found in more northerly areas.
